A Good Ass Question: Who’s the 2nd Best White Rapper of All Time?

Has anyone ever asked you a question that you didn’t have an initial answer for–a question that made you think long and hard (no pause)? Here at MJF we call those GAQs, better known as “Good Ass Questions.”

A good ass question is one that will have you rushing to Google, second guessing yourself and shooting down someone else’s DAA—Dumb Ass Answer. How old is Morgan Freeman? That’s a good ass question. Does God really exist? Another good ass question. What the fuck is juice? All of those are good ass questions.

But today’s GAQ is a lot more difficult. I still don’t have an answer to today’s good ass question, which is simply; who is the second best white rapper of all-time?

We all know that Eminem is the Larry Bird of white rappers. In my opinion, Marshall is the third best emcee of all-time—behind Nas and ‘Pac, but right in front of Biggie. But in the Caucasian category, who’s second?

In 2011 there’s a good handful of talented white lyricists: Yelawolf, Asher Roth, Machine Gun Kelly, Thee Tom Hardy and Mac Miller, to name a few. All of these emcees, however, are fresh in their careers—with only Roth and Yela having albums under their belt.

Going back a little, you can’t talk about white rappers without mentioning the Beastie Boys or MC Serch. Most Hip-Hop fans think Brother Ali is dope and Paul Wall is definitely one of my personal favorites, regardless of race. After that though, there’s a huge drop off.

I can count how many bangers Bubba Sparxxx had on one hand and still have fingers to spare. Marky Mark—thank God he’s acting, Vanilla Icewalking punchline, Snowa joke, Stagga Lee—Hell no, Kreayshawn—I quit.

I could continue, as I may have omitted your favorite white rapper, but you get my gist. After Eminem, I seriously don’t know how to grade everyone else’s overall body of work.

Who’s the second best white rapper ever?  Now that’s a good ass question.
