alright so i’m super crazy about this song. i’m not even sure how i got it but i am totally nuts over it. i put it on a random mixtape for myself probably about a month ago and keep coming back to it. unfortunately they dont have a lot released so this is the only sampling i have for you at the moment… its just the song, no vid, dont get too excited…

Sister Crayon is a group of four, mostly from Sacramento, led by Terra Lopez. Her voice is pretty great. I mean i really dig it. It seems like I’m feeling boy/girl mixed groups right now, *see also the xx, edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros. I’m not comparing Sister Crayon to either of those bands, they are all obviously very different. I’m just saying it’s refreshing to see/hear guys and girls together on the same non jay-z and beyonce/alicia track (easy, i have nothing but love for jay.)
anyway lucky for me SC will be playing in LA in a couple weeks… I’ll see what i can do about being there and report back.
