Miike Snow – Paddling Out (Video)

Style icon, Bauce Sauce, called jabots were coming back and Miike Snow has picked up on the trend. Besides a dash of Baroque period fashion, this video also contains some hauntingly beautiful choreography, an abduction of sorts, and some reconstructive surgery to create the perfect human. Don’t drink the banana juice.

“Paddling Out” will be released officially on the forthcoming Happy to You album, out 3/27.

Neon Indian – Fallout (Video)

I watched Drive last night and this video kind of reminds me of it because there’s a car in it and the music is maybe a little similar. If you favor sexual cartoons over big booty shaking, then you’ve come to the right place. The video is actually pretty funny, and her eyes at the end? I can’t. Video was directed by Lilfuchs and “Fallout,” is off of Neon Indian’s latest album, Era Extraña, available now.

M.I.A. – Bad Girls (Video)

“It was dope to have so many people from so many different backgrounds speaking so many different languages come together to create something that we believed in. I thought I was gonna die on the shoot when I saw the drifting. It was a four day shoot so everyone was on edge the whole time specifically ME when I had to do bluesteel singing to the camera while the cars did doughnuts on the wet road ten feet away. In my mind I was thinking how I was gonna deliver the video to Vice with no legs.”

The video was shot in Ouarzazate, Morocco, and is directed by Romain Gavras (M.I.A. “Born Free” and JUSTICE “Stress”). “Bad Girls” is out now on iTunes

Lana Del Rey – Video Games (Live on Letterman)

Forget SNL; whatever happened, happened. Haters are going to perpetually lead Lana down an abyss of comparisons and criticisms, but you should all see LDR performing the song that first got her noticed – ‘Video Games’ – live on Letterman last night. Starting off with a simplistic piano accompaniment, strings gradually join in to build momentum, making for a nice background both musically and visually against Lana’s usual stage stillness. I loved it. David evidently loved it from his proposal for her to return to the show right on the spot. Thoughts?

Drake – Practice (Video)

…well, not quite. Ladies, Drake is officially accepting fan-submitted videos of women gyrating to his “Back That Azz Up” rehash, “Practice.” First up is model Kyra Chaos, who might just have the best ass-to-waist ratio I’ve ever seen. I’d probably be able to muster up 12-15 pumps before tapping out—that’s all I got. Anyway, Drake actually walks in the room at the 3:23 mark and asks her if he can just stick the head in. Typical lightskin nigga move.

For all the women who would like to send Drizzy videos of them slow grinding all willy-nilly, you can email them to practicevideos12@gmail.com…or blackkevinarnold@mostlyjunkfood.com for pre-screening—giggity.

Madonna – Give Me All Your Luvin’ ft. Nicki Minaj & M.I.A. (Video)

Here’s Madonna’s video for “Give Me All Your Luvin’,” which will serve as the first single off her upcoming album, MDNA. This is also the song that millions of football fans are supposed to listen to during the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show, as Madonna, Nicki and M.I.A. are slated to perform. I like Madonna and all, but unless Nicki and Maya get naked and start touching each other, I’m probably going to be switching the channel during their performance on Sunday.

The Neighbourhood – Female Robbery (Video)

This great track from Newbury Park, California’s The Neighbourhood premiered on BBC Radio 1′s Zane Lowe show the other night, and the black & white video shot by Zack Sekular and the band premiered at NME on Tuesday. Yes, the winged miscreants at Pigeons & Planes and those foreign guys at HYPETRAK scooped me on The Neighborhood, there is very little known about the vague and mysterious 4 member outfit.

That songwriting and production is undeniable. It combines my favorite parts of sweeping Brit Rock serenades like Editors/Doves with a touch of groups like Cold War Kids and Walkmen. Expect a debut EP this spring and in the mean time show them some love on Facebook.

Ryan Adams, Childish Gambino & Michael McDonald Audition For Super Bowl Halftime Show (Video)

A Canadian Troubadour, Troy from Community and a Doobie Brother walk into the bar. Check out this animated vignette of Ryan Adams, Childish Gambino and Michael McDonald performing their own renditions of TV themes like Saved By The Bell, Passions, and Night Rider. Ultimately Cee-Lo Green (the Soul Machine) aka ‘The Voice’ takes the ship. Bravo, Tina Fey and crazy 30 Rock writers and shoutout to our very own Kenneth, Stuart.

PAY ATTENTION. Tried to put you guys onto mysterious DJ/figment of imagination A. Chal, but you weren’t listening. All I can say is this is right on time. Up until now, very little is known about this artist shrouded in mystery and bong smoke.

But the blog world is clamoring to this art-house mix of hip hop and tasteful dubstep. Get in where you fit in.
