Designer Drugs – Hardcore/Softcore

My Electro friends have been buzzing about this new Designer Drugs LP all week. Though I sorta saw them open for Deadmau5, I won’t claim to be the authority on the group. I’m sure Little Foot could expand on these thoughts, but this album basically draws on influences ranging from Van Halen to House/Trance to Hip Hop and definitely some in-your-face Punk aesthetics. Designer Drugs seem to have mastered that roller-coaster sound through dramatic builds and drops. I know it’s kind of in poor blogger taste to post almost all of the album, but it’s getting late and I couldn’t single out any tracks.
