Elle Varner – Only Wanna Give it to You ft. J. Cole

Damn, this jawn is flames. I think this is the first time most of us are hearing of Ms. Varner–and what an introduction it is. J. Cole adds a nice 16 to this, but it’s Elle’s soulful voice over this vintage ’90s beat that has me rewinding the record.

Is that a Biz Markie “Make the Music With Your Mouth” sample I hear? Anyway, I’m definitely feeling this and look forward to hearing more from the new J Records signee.
