Fourth of July

These guys are fantastic. Their first album, “On the Plains” came out in 2007 and I’ve been bumping it ever since. The band’s second album was recently released, “Before Our Hearts Explode!”
Brendan (the lead singer) and the entire band once stayed at my place in Bloomington for a night. We partied the night away (see: above picture, Brendan is wearing the Burberry scarf, and, yours truly, is looking quite gone on the far right) and I’ve always expected this indie group to blow up. Well maybe this is their year.
The attached, “L Train,” is almost scarily how I’ve been feeling lately. Hope you all enjoy it and if you do, you should go out and cop both of their albums on iTunes. I’ve also attached a couple from their great debut.
