Future Performs “Tony Montana” at San Francisco 49ers Playoff Game(s)

Although my team (Green Bay Packers) was demolished last week by New York, I’m pretty amped about today’s matchup between the 49ers and the Giants—but not just because of the game. If you watched last week’s thriller between New Orleans and San Fran, you probably heard Future’s “Tony Montana” playing in Candlestick Park before every 49ers kickoff. It would appear that the Niners have adopted the street banger as their fight song during this year’s playoff run. As the 49ers were manhandling the Saints during the first half, I joked that the team would fly Future out to perform the song live next week if they won the game.

Well I was right—kind of. The Niners ARE flying Future out to perform the song at their game against the Giants today, but this will be the second time. Future was actually in attendance last week, performing the song before each kickoff. That’s pretty dope. If the 49ers win today, I wouldn’t be surprised if he records a special remix for the team, switching out ‘Tony’ for ‘Joey.’ Peep the video of Future performing live at last week’s game. And yes, he looked like he was drunk and/or popped a few pills before he performed.
