what was the first CD or tape that you ever bought?
First CD ever bought for me was the ‘Dangerous Minds’ OST, featuring Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise” of course, though my favorite track of the album was and has always been Rappin 4-Tay’s “Message for your Mind.” First CD I ever bought myself was Michael Jackson’s ‘HIStory: Past, Present & Future.” What can I say – I grew up listening to MJ.
what was the most recent CD you purchased?
As in physically bought at a store? Bloc Party’s ‘Silent Alarm’, back in 2005. If I buy anything, I buy it in digital form. Last album purchased digitally: Electric President’s ‘The Violent Blue.’
describe your most memorable concert experience.
FACT: I’ve never been to a concert.

what is your biggest musical guilty pleasure?
A healthy percentage of my music. Hard to choose, but any of the following: the arcade-trance assault of Emotional Joystick’s “Ignite”, pretty much the entire Nappy Roots’ ‘Humdinger’ album, “Snails” by The Format and other related “cute” music, The New Amsterdams’ “Idaho” because it encourages me to sing along and, of course, all my 90s music.
do you have a favorite song/artist/cd?
Bear Colony, Electric President and Kyle Andrews are always in rotation.
if you could hang out with any recording artist (dead or alive) who would you choose and why?
Justin Bieber obviously. For Twitter followers and the opportunity to parlay my own auto-tuned godliness into sex icon status.
