You know how difficult it is to find a picture of LL Cool J with his shirt on in Google images? Anyway, we here at MJF wanted to wish Uncle L a very happy 44th birthday. Not only is he a Hip-Hop pioneer and established actor, but he’s also found the fountain of youth—only sharing it with Stacey Dash that one time in ’97.
On a personal note, LL is one of the few rappers to have ever made it on my “Get the Drawlz” slow jam playlist. I mean, he did kind of invent the rap ballad. I’m sure both Nelly and Ja Rule will be sending him birthday/thank you cards today—Jeffrey’s from jail, of course.
