what was the first CD or tape that you ever bought?
the first cd i bought myself was The Rebrandts, but i know i had janet and paula tapes, and the first music i really remember listening to other than sharon lois and braham, and disney stuff, is paul simon, the rolling stones, aretha franklin and anita baker (thanks dad)
what was the most recent CD you purchased?
i’m sad to say… i’m pretty sure christina aguilera, justin timberlake and john mayer all had albs come out around my… senior? yr of college. those were the last cd’s i bought. i’m a pirate.
describe your most memorable concert experience.
haven’t been in forever, ashamed again. but i’m going to the xx in 4 days!!! honestly, guster my freshman year of college in the back yard of some frat was so fun and amazing b/c the crowd was so small and no one knew them.
what is your biggest musical guilty pleasure?
i LOVE old pop, bsb, nsync, oh and i love nelly and the st lunatics but im not even ashamed about that.
do you have a favorite song, artist or CD?
my favorite all time song is “Forgot about Dre,” and my second favorite song of all time is “Claire de Lune” by Debussy … weird spread there. favorite cd of all time… ahh, either Enema of the State by blink 182, or living in clip by ani difranco, although i have to give props to the first mixtape dsnitz gave me titled “Water is useless to me,” its the reason why i like cool shit now.
if you could hang out with any recording artist (dead or alive) who would you choose and why?
oooo, donald glover? i mean i just love him right now. hmm mick jagger? jayz? i think mayer hawthorne would be super cool… i would want to hang out with someone that wouldn’t have the desire to serenade me (barf) and would want to just have fun while listening to sweet music. but if i were to work for an artist as a dancer?… janet. for sure. or justin, obviously.
