Late Night Snack: The Art of Noise – Moments in Love

If I was lying on the beach with Halle Berry and we were both butt-ass naked, drinking strawberry daiquiris and caressing each others chestesses, I’d imagine that this song would be playing gently in the background. It’s just so smooth and well-composed. The synths, bells, snaps and even the weird ass breakdown at the 6:45 mark—it all meshes perfectly.
And besides simply being a dope ass track, “Moments in Love” is also one of the most sampled songs in Hip-Hop and R&B. Here are five of my favorite songs that sample the early-’80s classic.
