Lil’ B’s Cookin’ Dance: The Most Based Celebration in the NFL

“Touchdown, touchdown, I think I’m Jerry Rice.” -Lil’ B (Swag Jerry Rice)

Much to the chagrin of old, wrinkly football purists, players all over the NFL are putting their individuality on display by celebrating after scoring a touchdown or making a spectacular play. Last season the jerk, Dougie (including the worst Dougie I’ve ever seen) and the Cat Daddy were all hot commodities. But this season, there’s a new dance that’s all the rage–Lil’ B’s cookin’ dance. Every week there’s a new player cookin’ up gourmet meals on the gridiron and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you, Based God.

Hit the jump to see which NFL players are trained in the based culinary arts.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson proves he’s a master chef after catching a touchdown pass in the 4th quarter against the New York Giants.

Tampa Bay cornerback Aqib Talib cooks after returning an interception for a touchdown.

Green Bay Packer linebacker Desmond Bishop cooks after sacking Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.

Even Hall of Famer Deion Sanders is out here cookin’ on hoes. Primetime, baby.

Bonus

Football players aren’t the only athletes who are Lil’ B fans. Basketball and soccer players are totally based as well. The Shaka Smart/VCU locker room “Swag” speech is definitely my favorite Lil’ B-related video on the Internet. Even the assistant coaches and athletic trainers were having fun with it–swag!
