to get in touch with Stuart:

what was the first CD or tape that you ever bought?

The first tape I remember my parents buying for me was Michael Jackson Thriller in like 2nd grade. I was all about MJ. BUT the first tape I remember buying with my own money was at the Walgreens on 38th St in the Nappy Nap and that tape was…Country Grammar, the single by Nelly. That was the illest shit. My dad did not enjoy it as we bumped it on the way home.

what was the most recent CD you purchased?

The most recent CD that I physically went and bought was Vampire Weekend Contra. What an ill CD. Shout out to Ezra.

describe your most memorable concert experience.

My favorite concert of all time was when I saw George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic in AMSTERDAM. No joke, I was 17, my mind was free, I was on many-a substance and it was George Clinton’s fucking birthday. Amazing.

what is your biggest musical guilty pleasure (something you’d be embarrassed to have come up on shuffle but secretly love)

Well, I just checked my top 25 most played and Jesse McCartney’s Leavin’ is up on that shit and I have to admit, I do love that song. But also in constant rotation is Spice Girls, O-town and a bunch of other super embarrassing, yet extremely catchy, hits

do you have a favorite song, artist or CD?

Favorite Song: Hard to pick but I’d say Donovan-Atlantis, Bob Marley-Stir it up, and Crimson and Clover all tie.

Favorite Artist: Vampire Weekend, for sure.

Favorite CD: Hmmmm, Probably this band from Kansas who never blew up (but did party at my house in Bloomington) Fourth of July- On the Plains. In fact, I’ll blog their shit later

when Stuart isn’t busy working as an NBC Page at 30 Rock or with his lovely girlfriend in the Garden State, he’s in the lab making hits as part of the Fresh Boy All-Stars working with world renown producer G. Steel
