Dawg I fucking hate school. I’ve always seen it as working toward something, but I really dont see myself with a degree and all that shit.

OF is a gang like, shit is hella deep but the music group consist of:
Tyler, The Creator, who is exactly that. He started this. Creative as fuck.
Hodgy Beats is the front man. If I had to pick one person that deserves to rule the world, it would be him. I idolize his work ethic.
Left Brain, thats ma muhh fuckin nigga. Hes the reason im in OF…theres no 2 ways around that.
Earl Sweatshirt – The rawest little dude that ever lived. I listen to his shit before I rob banks. That’s pretty often.
Domo Genesis – This is honestly the only dude that i’ll admit is cooler than me. And everyone knows I got that fuckin swag so that’s saying alot.
Matt Martians – OF by way of ATL. Another creative mind. It’s sort of unbelievable how talented he is.
Syd The Kid – She’s the brains of this shit. Behind the scenes most of the time but her production and editing game is majorly on point.
Then theres Mike G…but I never heard of him.

Thank you, but yeah, I was choppin and screwin shit before I started rapping. It’s just mainly another form of expression for me. I noticed alot of people I fuck with are starting to try to learn how to do it. Kinda flattering but no…fucking stop. Get your own swag. BUT. I really don’t have a problem with Dom Kennedy. Most of his shit is cool but I don’t know what it is. Something about him just makes me say ‘ehh.’ Curren$y is alright, hes just monotone as fuck so I cant really get into anything he does. Wiz is that NIGGA plain and simple. But I dont listen to too many new artist/music. All my listening hours go to the excess of beats I get, a lot of Shady/Aftermath, Dubstep, and rock

Nice – what kind of dubstep are you into?

It’s hard to find good dubstep songs. Chasing Shadows, Bare Noize, and Mt. Eden make some great shit.

I haven’t even been in OF for a year yet. I was a huge fan before I started making music with them. I dont know too much about the origin. I never really worried about it. All I know is where we’re gonna take this shit. Being compared to Wu-Tang is great .

The main thing about 2dbz is that they get paid to post weak shit. Tyler sent them some of his shit a while ago and they wouldnt fuck with it I guess. Nah I don’t have a message for them. I couldnt give a fuck less about 2dopeboyz. Faggots

The Earl thing is really tough to speak on. I’d hate to disclose too much information because I dont want to give ppl the wrong idea. Jus shout Free Earl, and when he comes back, know OF won’t be touched

I think Ali is an underground classic all the joints bang so hard in the whip. Your flow and style reminds me a little of Snoop before he started sucking. Like when he was still gangsta and hungry. Or even 98 Eminem lyrically. What emcees would you cite as influences to your style?

Hahahaha. Thats swag. Snoop will always be that nigga tho, regardless of all this ‘my lil homies jerkin’ bullshit he goin through. But that makes me feel awesome, like you have no idea. As much as I love my album that shit was a gunman with Parkinson’s…aimless as fuck. The only rapper I can say influenced my style was Proof, and that was only lightweight. Thats my favorite rapper, thats why I dropped it on the day he died. Other than, it seems kind of odd but Muhammad Ali plays a big part. Regardless if he IS the greatest or not, he believes he is. I respect that so much. Plus hes cocky as hell. Thats always a nice asset to have. Another person is Stephen King. I find it hilarious that so many people (most of them females) tell me that they love ‘King’ but they have no idea that I named like 25 of his books in it. There’s reason behind the murder talk. His mind is amazing. The characters he comes up with, and the situations he puts them cant be touched. I could only aspire to think like he does.

Bob Marley is the man. But on any given day you might catch me listening to Michael Jackson, I remember my brother got me into Linkin Park a long ass time ago…uhhh Natasha Beddingfield is so ill. I listen to alot of things people wouldnt expect me to.

I fuck with Nickleback and Coldplay heavy. X&Y and Viva La Vida were so dope. Gorillaz, but that isnt really surprising. People just fail to mention them but they’re awesome. But oh man….the famous broads I really have a list and I could go on for days. Christina Milian will always be my number one. I fucking love her so much lmfao. Others, off top…Amerie, Megan Fox of course, Emma Stone, Rihanna is my bottom bitch…shes so bad but she do so much to piss me off lol. I’ve always said i’d be content if I had one night with Keri Hilson and i’d wrap up 3 times and give Kat Stacks the business. But over all gimmie a bitch my age that looks like Vanity in ’85, wears fitted caps, smokes weed (optional), doesnt talk too much, and can match my swag and i’ll be set.

yeah we got love for Hermione too bro.  Nickleback though?  haha.  so tell us about your creative process. do you do a lot of writing when you’re bored in class?

Writing is usually different for every song. The best ones come to me at like 2 in the morning. I might find the beat I want then just go in. Alot of the verses on ALI I wrote during mornings after a fucking awesome night in the studio. I don’t really write in class because I hate people asking me what i’m writing or even worse looking over my shoulder. I’m really self conscious about my shit so nothing is ever good enough untill it’s recorded. If I ever caught someone reading my rhyme book i’d prolly fuck them up.

“Norville Rogers (Oh Man)” is so dope. “I used to give a fuck you caught me a little late”. What’s the track from? and what kind of material from OF and Mike G can we look forward to?

I love that song and thats probably my favorite line. The way I found that beat was so lucky. But when I put that out I was planning on releasing another mixtape. I’m sort of on the fence with that though. I might just put out another EP. But next up we got MellowHype – BlacknedWhite. That’s going to be epic. Wolf drops on Christmas. People have been waiting years for that lol. Matt Martians is constantly working on new things so he might have something before the year is up.
