“Who the fuck is Margiela?”

More like who the fuck is Yasiin? Yeah, he decided to (and I quote) “freestyle” over this beat and all I could do after hearing it was scratch my head. This is not the Mos that I used to know and love. This is more of a political rant than a freestyle, but hey – it’s better than nothing. Your ears will probably feel awkward after listening to this.

no offense, but although consistency can be a good thing to carry on and really articulate an artist’s style, artists ultimately have the freedom to do anything they want. I don’t think they should be obligated to stick to a past style, or their familiar style. In fact it is more interesting that artists switch up their styles once in a while; I think it also promotes creativity and eventually leads to the evolution of a genre.

none taken. if Mos wants to go this new route that’s fine with me but he’s gonna lose a lot of fans over it. But do you really think this track is THAT good? I mean, come on..you can’t really understand half of it, and most of it is rambling. thanks for reading.
