News: MTV Announces 2012 VMA Nominations

MTV is currently gearing up for the 2012 Video Music Awards. The show is set to air on September 6 live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The network has already announced Alicia Keys and boy band One Direction as performers, but they also have released the full list of nominees. As usual, viewers have the opportunity to vote on the winners of each category.
