Phony Ppl is a Brooklyn 8-piece combining the most crucial ingredients in hip hop, funk, soul, neo-soul and jazz to bring us Phony Land, a project 3 years in the making. Reminds me of my favorite album from The Roots, 1995′s Do You Want More?!!!??!. Shoutout to our east coast blog mafia Sperry & Confusion for putting me on game. This is exactly what the doctor RX’d.
