Some people have a disdain for musicians with characters in their name, coughKe$hacough, however, don’t let that keep you from checking Play-N-Skillz out. Brothers who have achieved success as super-producers through collaborations with David Guetta, Flo-Rida, and Pitbull all while winning 2 Grammys are striving to segway from hip-hop to electronic dance music on their mixtape Fireworks.

Play-N-Skillz cooked up this video for the track “Survivor.” The video, featuring the producers both working and not working, was meant to give the audience insight to their lives. I personally appreciate the a video that is not inundated in glossy images of the said artist and punctuated by screen shots of Ferrari Spyders and money. Bonus: the video features cameos from guys in the business including my favorite DOGG.

Admittedly, I have to agree with someone who said their mixtape has some hits and misses, but if you like this song, I encourage you to download Fireworks and see for yourself. Also, look out for look out for a massive single featuring Pitbull and another “special guest” (hint: I’ve posted her on MJF before) coming soon. Check out the video, download what you will and let them cook.
