Arguably the best rapper of all time, Notorious B.I.G. died on this day in 1997. He was gunned down on the Miracle Mile on the corner of Fairfax & Wilshire in Los Angeles. One summer I worked on that block and I thought about Christopher Wallace every day passing the Peterson Auto Museum. “Sky Is The Limit” was the 3rd single from B.I.G.’s second album Life After Death and probably my favorite song of his. I was only ten in 1997 when he died, but I was the biggest Bad Boy Records fan already. Pour out some blunt guts for Christopher Wallace today
