Singer Inara George (“the bird”) and producer Greg Kurstin (“the bee”) have been on the music scene since 2006. Their melodic songs have been on Apple commercials, movies like Sex & The City and Forgetting Sarah Marshall and more recently in every clothing store I’ve shopped at here in L.A.
The other day I heard their cover of Hall & Oates’ “Sarah Smile” at the Banana Republic (pause). One thing you must know about me is I love Yacht Rock. It might be my favorite genre of music. So anyway, here’s some choice cuts from The Bird & The Bee’s Hall & Oates tribute record. Love this album!
