Yasiin! Nah fuck that, he’s still Mos Def to me, although I can definitely get used to Yasiin Bey if this is the kind of stuff he will be involved in post-name change. The credit for this track, however, belongs to Robert Glasper, a jazz pianist and producer. The song grows in emotion and style with each added layer. He released his full-length Black Radio today with guest spots from Erykah Badu, Lupe Fiasco, KING, Mr. Yasiin Bey, and more. I’d write more here, but this song speaks for itself.
