I first heard of Small Black when I saw this SXSW 2010 showcase video for their phenomenal song Despicable Dogs. Anyone familiar with my posts knows I’m into the hazy-synth-dream-pop genre & beach vibes so it goes without saying that after I saw the vid I had to have their Small Black EP. Check out the new track ‘Photojournalist’ from their upcoming album New Chain coming in October & take a look at their blog. If you like the song Despicable Dogs, the Washed Out remix from the joint-released 3 song EP is a must listen.
