Brooding indie pop is the description I keep hearing over and over to describe UK’s Elephants Are. Their cinematic indie pop differentiates them from just another British indie pop band. Their debut single “War Cry” was a mind-sweeping jam that channeled emotional vocals. Following suit, “Lucifer” features deep, purposeful drums that rile you up from the moment the song starts, brewing your emotions until a climaxing chorus that when it comes, just FEELS so good. If I could DJ my own dreams, this is the music I would play.
