Singer JoJo is back with a new single, and she’s keeping things grown and sexy. Titled ‘Demonstrate,’ the mellow track sees the 21 year old promising to “let her body explain” the sensual thoughts running through her mind. The song was produced by longtime Drake collaborator ’40,’ and will be available on iTunes starting August 28.

I’ve always found JoJo’s capabilities as a singer to be criminally underrated, and it’s largely because of her material. Marketed as a teeny bopper artist, her songs have mostly been ignored by the older and urban audience; ironic considering her tone is more suited to R&B music. So it’s great to see JoJo reemerging with this track. ‘Demonstrate’ is simple enough to make it easily digestible by the radio, but good enough to stand out among the other generic songs getting airplay. Here’s hoping JoJo and 40 link up some more because the chemistry is undeniable.
This is the first official time they’ve teamed up, but you may remember her interesting cover of Marvin’s room… (or maybe you didn’t because you drank too much of whatever strong was in your water bottle).
As a bonus, check out JoJo’s cover of the 40 produced, ‘Houstatlantavegas':
