French electronic music duo, Justice, dropped the visual for their latest single, the thumping prog-rock “On’n'On“. Directed by Alexandre Courtes, the video features just enough naked ladies, skulls and Escher-esque optical illusions to make it the perfect after work special.
One of dubstep’s most elusive characters, Zomby, has emerged from the shadows with the announcement of a new album to be released on 4AD. The pair will release a limited edition 10″ of “Natalia’s Song”, a track featured on Burial x Kode9′s Mary Anne Hobbs mix, on May 10th in anticipation of the new album. Big things, keep your eyes peeled for more news.
While everyone’s heading south for Spring Break, I decided to forego a tropical vacation and put my money towards attending the Snowball Music Festival in Vail Valley, Colorado. First, let me preface that I’m not a writer but an avid music appreciator and devotee. That being said, I will give my two cents on the weekend and hopefully by the end you’ll understand that this is one festival you do not want to miss next year.
So about a week ago I posted these remixes that Pretty Lights performed for the first time at his NYE Chicago shows. However, those are YouTube rips and Derek has blessed us with CDQ extra untz versions in a pack called Unreleased 2010 Remixes. These are the only two that weren’t in that post so I am letting them get their shine here. However, you are more than welcome (and highly encouraged) to download the pack here
So who won this round? Eric B & Rakim/Steve Miller or Biggie/Jay-Z?? I like how Fly Like an Eagle is more spacey than the original. Too many Biggie and Jay-Z mash-ups now-a-days. Vote in the poll!
If your attention span can handle a mix not separated by track, this one covers Laidback Luke‘s favorite House remixes and edits of 2010. Apparently he’s been doing this every year for 7 years. There are a bunch of songs in this mix I have never heard before, but it’s all pretty fuego
his Mike Posner “Do You Wanna” remix has gotten lots of good feedback, and now he’s gonna blow your mind with this 30-minute mix of some of the best tracks 2010 Electro music has to offer. This mix ought to get you up and going. My 12-year-old sister straightens her hair and gets psyched to talk to boys on this mix

Not a Daily Dose. I’ve just been absent for the past few days. So here’s three four tracks to consider going forward into the weekend, including KidNamedKYLE’s honorable mention favorite Joker and some non-Turtle tracks from Mr. Dayble, including the live and EP cuts of electro sensation “Faun.”:
