Eminem & Muse to Headline Lollapalooza 2011

Eminem & Dr. Dre – Guilty Conscious (Live in London, 2000)
Muse – Starlight (Live at Wembley Stadium)

The Chicago Tribune spilled the beans and announced the headliners for Lollapalooza 2011. It has been confirmed that Eminem, Muse and Foo Fighters will be in the top 3 spots when they announce the lineup in April. Foo Fighters eh..but Eminem and Muse is good shit. I just hope this means Eminem announces a summer tour, otherwise I’m going to this. Eminem on the farm at Bonnaroo would be crazy though. Other rumors include Girl Talk, Crystal Castles, and Lykke Li. One thing for sure, Eminem is going to draw a different crowd…but hey at least it’ll better than the “famed monsters” from last year right? I wouldn’t know, I didn’t go.

Eminem Signs Yelawolf & Slaughterhouse to Shady Records

via XXL

“Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse, it’s kinda phase two of Shady,” says Eminem. “It’s the new generation of Shady Records and as we’re trying to rebuild our label, it’s exciting for hip-hop and with all of these forces coming together and with what everybody’s capable of on the mic, it’s gonna be fun.”

Slaughterhouse – Put Some Money On It (Remix) ft. The Lox
Yelawolf – Good To Go (ft. Bun B)
Yelawolf – I Wish (ft. Raekwon)
Slaughterhouse – The Leak
Slaughterhouse – Woodstock (ft. M.O.P.)

man the 12-year old me would have been so stoked at this news. Yelawolf and Joell Ortiz are relatively new, but I remember listening to Crooked I, Royce 5’9 and Joe Budden WAYYYYYYY back in the day. Definitely gonna be cool to hear all these guys on songs together.

lloyd banks hunger for more 2
Lloyd Banks – Where I’m At (ft. Eminem)

“I overcame odds to get even. the sober me is shittin on the unsober you”

produced by Boi-1da. a lot of people forgot about our guy Lloyd today with Curren$y, Kanye, Yelawolf & Nicki Minaj each dropping albums. but HUNGER FOR MORE 2 is out now and if it’s anything like this track it’s worth checking out

one of the best Eminem efforts I’ve heard in years….I haven’t felt Marshall like that in a minute WOO! on his “Kim” subject matter. Lloyd holds his own too. Boi-1da laced the beat.

Rihanna – Love The Way You Lie Pt. 2 (feat. Eminem) (Prod By Alex Da Kid)

Here’s part II to what’s becoming the most overplayed song on the radio since Nothin On You. Really feeling the beat on this one but the lyrics are nothing compared to part I. This one will be on Ri-Ri’s new CD, Loud due November 16th.

What do you guys think?

Eminem Interview on “60 Minutes” With Anderson Cooper

October 10, 2010 No comments yet

Anderson & Marshall discuss how Eminem came up (the plot of 8 Mile) and of course bullying, the news hot topic of for October comes up. I’m over Eminem talking about how he’s not drugs. His last album was a disappointment to me personally (Beau gave it 4.5 cheeseburger phones in his review). I bet he’s got a classic album left in him. Artists usually come out hard after self-indulgent LP’s (Kanye)

if you guys don’t have Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on your radar or your DVR or your twitter timeline, you’re losing. Leno and Letterman are over the hill. The Roots and any musical guest is always great television. Here a dark haired Eminem spits his hard out backed by the Legendary Roots Crew. the last time these two were paired was his performance of “Lose Yourself” at the Grammys.
