Tyler The Creator Interviews Nas For XXL

Can you believe it’s been almost 20 years since a young Queensbridge emcee named Nas came on the scene with an album called Illmatic? The LP is widely considered the pinacle of hip hop albums, with every up-and-coming artist still striving unsuccessfully to replicate the classic debut. In anticipation of Nasir’s 10th LP, XXL had Tyler The Creator interview him for their latest issue, out October 25th.

Damn, real talk like this is why I got back into caring about what came out of someone’s mouth in music. Or anyone in general, honestly. Great read for anyone with the time of day
