here’s the first leak off the highly anticipated Von Pea debut LP “Pea’s Gotta Have It” (no relation to “She’s Gotta Have It”). Von Pea is one of my favorite emcees, representing Tanya Morgan and The Lessondary (a claim to fame: he moderates Okayplayer’s The Lesson). It’s on OKP where he’s developed his gift for snark and funny punchlines, not to mention he makes beats as The Beatmaker *batcrack*. making hip hop fun again for all the boys and girlies – taking it back to the essence and at the same time clowning on fools that got it all wrong
