Willis Earl Beal – Evening Kiss (VIDEO)

Last summer, The Chicago Reader did a piece on a lonely, drifting soul-singer looking to be noticed and openly received. It wasn’t some probing manhunt followed by a riveting, gonzo-investigation. It was actually just a simple flyer posted outside of a bookstore:

And, to my knowledge, even after signing with Hot Charity Records, everything stated in that poster is still true. After gaining some fan traffic following one of the more interesting P4K interviews of late, Beal now has a visual for his first single, “Evening Kiss”. The video is just as sparse and atmospheric as the song itself. Check out the video, and some further justification of Mr. Beal’s supreme talent, below.
